REZILIENZ carries the spirit of resilience, born out of founder Jeron Teo’s desire to inspire the lives of others through specially handcrafted jewellery pieces. Since young, Jeron found himself deeply intrigued by the endless possibilities of creating structures out of beads.
In 2011, REZILIENZ was officially established. REZILIENZ was featured at The Straits Times Classified Fashion and IT showcase at Suntec Convention Centre in 2012. On the runway, Miss Singapore finalist Nicole De Souza and Singapore model Vivien Ong dazzled the crowd with the brilliance of REZILIENZ finest pieces. Subsequently, REZILIENZ was invited by W Hotels Singapore to W Store and caught the likings of fashion savvy visitors from countries such as France, Australia and the Arab nation. Swarovski’s partnership with REZILIENZ came into force, strengthening the brand’s industry presence.
In 2013, REZILIENZ expanded with the support of private investor, Alan Sim. In partnership with Swarovski, REZILIENZ held its Raison d'être Classic Collection Launch on 3rd July 2014. The intimate event was held in W Singapore Sentosa Cove, and hosted by award-winning host, Belinda Lee. This primary collection comprised of 3 handcrafted keys, each individually crafted with Swarovski elements. Each key with a story of its own represented the founder’s core values Love, Faith and Strength. The keys were unveiled on a wire-crafted tree that signified the Tree of Knowledge. Hanging the keys on the “Tree of Knowledge”, symbolizes the keys as lessons for us gained in life.
REZILIENZ is also frequently featured spotlighted in the media, with features on local newspapers, Lian He Zao Bao and The Epoch Times. Spring Summer and Autumn Winter Collection Launches caught the attention of fashionistas and are well received. While, local celebrities like Zoe Tay and Julie Tan were also spotted adorning beautiful pieces on nationwide television.
Since its establishment, Jeron inspired by the nature around has successfully created art pieces with esteemed Swarovski crystals that breathe new life into our local design industry. Today you can always recognize each REZILIENZ designs in the way it reflects signature elements like the handcrafted weaving techniques.
2015 was a year of expansion for REZILIENZ. From its new partnership with Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur to its first pop-up store in Bali, designs continue to attract the attention of fashion leaders. REZILIENZ was featured in two magazines in Bali, The Beat Bali & FRV Bali, as well as the annual Star Awards show in Singapore. In November 2015, REZILIENZ X W SINGAPORE presented a delightful confectionery of sparkles with the limited edition W BonBon Collection by REZILIENZ. Designer Jeron Teo was inspired by the Bonbon artwork, which is installed by the side of W Pool. "BonBon" means “sweets” in French and the delightful collection resembles the sweet partnership between the two brands.
REZILIENZ established its first corporate office in Singapore this year. Jeron designed a tie for Mediacorp artiste, Elvin Ng, to complement his attire at the Star Awards Show 2, leading to Elvin receiving the Best Dressed Award by I-Weekly magazine. REZILIENZ showcased its products at Swarovski SS2017 at Alkaff Masnsion. Cosmopolitan Indonesia and Cleo Indo magazines showcased the latest product lines to its wide readership base. The latest brand’s pop-up store feature was held at Tangs Singapore.
